This Is What a Real-Life Economic Collapse Looks Like

This CAN happen here, and most likely will. Our economy has been destroyed by the invasion of Marxists into our government, and this is what they have brought with them.

Did you ever think about what your life would be like if the stores were closed? I’m not talking about a post-apocalyptic Mad Max scenario or a winter storm that clears the shelves. I’m talking about a long-term disruption of services caused by an economic collapse.

What if you couldn’t run to Wal-Mart to get soap?  What if the grocery store had supplies so limited that they were rationed out to people in such small amounts that the food you got was not enough to meet your needs? What if there were no diapers for your baby or aspirin to cure a headache?

This is exactly what happens in a serious economic collapse. It happened a couple of years ago in Greece, and it’s happening right now in Venezuela. Bloomberg.com reports a scene of desperation:

Long lines, some stretching for blocks…

Time and again we are reminded why it is prudent to have a back up plan just in case things go wrong. You’ve already got car insurance, house insurance, medical insurance and life insurance. But what about disaster insurance? And no, we’re not talking about a piece of paper guarantee issued by some behemoth corporation who you’re supposed to call when things go wrong.

Real disaster insurance in this context refers to your own personal and familial emergency reserve supplies and strategies, to be consumed and implemented when all hell breaks loose.

What’s happening in the North Eastern part of the United States right now – “Snowpacolypse” – should convince anyone who hasn’t done so yet to prepare themselves for short- and long-term calamities. They happen quite regularly all over the world. We’ve seen them hit time and again in both, first and third world nations in…

News Analysis: Home Invader Slices Throat, And Leaves When Shot At

If you don’t have a gun, get one. There is nowhere you can move to that is safe. Arm yourself and educate yourself. If this couple had called the cops, they’d have only written the reports and called the coroner.

Growing Up Guns

Kaehne targeted the home because it looked like it did not have many occupants. He entered through a window, which he propped open with canisters, and stood in the bedroom of a man and woman for about 40 minutes before the man woke up.

Summary: So this psychopath breaks into this house after romanticizing (and journaling!) about how great it will be to kill this couple that he has apparently been surveilling. Bad guy comes in through a window, which was probably unlocked and without alarm protection, and watches them sleep for 40 minutes before making his move. He attacks the husband first slicing his throat. While they are fighting, the wife wakes up and gets a gun out and shoots at the bad guy, scaring him away.

What can we learn from this? Let’s make a list.

  • Random crime happens and psychopaths are walking among us. The first…

Review: Secrets of the Snubby DVD

It is important to be open to and able to use any and all types of firearms. The snubbie has proven itself and while I don’t carry one now, I certainly would again.

Growing Up Guns

A few weeks ago, I had a range trip with my good friend and mentor, Claude Werner (The Tactical Professor). He surprised me by giving me a copy of his new DVD “Secrets of the Snubby” published by Armed Response Video Training Series. This DVD has been in production limbo for several years and Claude was finally able to wrap up the filming and editing. I’m really excited about this DVD as it sums up nearly all of the snub nosed revolver tricks and tips that I have gleaned from Claude over the years. Production value is high, the demonstrations are well illustrated, and all of the explanations are clear and concise. I expect nothing less from Claude!

A Tale Of Two Cities

Two traffic stops in two different cities, two different outcomes.

And then this.  Watch the video carefully, several times, full screen.  Betcha never see the suspect pointing his gun at the officer.  An assisting officer later says the pistol was loaded and the hammer cocked.  The officer that had to shoot the suspect says ‘Why did he have to do that?’  Are you still ready to second-guess and condemn every OIS?
