And doing a darn fine job. Stupid is so much easier to channel into people’s brains, or what passes for brains. Read, study, learn every day. You know the saying: Illigitimi non carborundum. In the Book of Jude (that little bitty one just before Revelation) it talks about snatching from the fire those that are perishing. I know it is an irritation and a real pain in the butt to try to educate the ignorant. Try anyway. It’s a tough job but someone has to do it. Be a sheepdog in every aspect of your life. Of course, you will run into many that fear and hate learning, and those you will just have to write off after making your best attempt to school them. But remember, educating morons is a lot like witnessing about the Gospel. It is silly to expect people to grow a brain on the spot and take what you say for the truth. But as any missionary knows, sometimes you plant a seed, sometimes you water a seed that you have not planted, and sometimes you get to harvest that which you have not sown or cared for. But mostly expect resistance. Do what you know is right no matter the outcome. You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, sheepdog.
